Bridge.

As I said earlier this morning I would Blip more of the bridges/arches I took for our April U3A meeting.  This one is in Grassington, North Yorkshire and Jane's cousin was able to tell me a little of its history.  It was built by relatives on Jane's mother's side, called Wood.  They were stonemasons.  It seems funny to me that somebody called Wood would work with stone. (Weird sense of humour!)  That is the River Wharfe flowing under the bridge although there isn't much water like our Lake District rivers, at present.  You can see what type of day it was, but warm.
Today I wandered through a small wood seeing what could be photographed.  Trying to photo bees wasn't successful this time-the little b's move to quickly!!!!!
The extra is Ashness Bridge from a different angle to the one you normal see.
A Bank Holiday weekend so have a good one.
