Prestigious area

in downtown Helsinki in the picture. The three windows from the right (ground floor) were the ones that used to belong to the restaurant that my grandma had. It was called Sateenkaari (rainbow) and it was way before the current Rainbow era.

I walked past this with my mum today and she showed me the correct windows. If you click on the map icon on the right side of the page you can see where this was.

We were supposed to go out for lunch with my parents, but my dad wasn't up to going out. He has two major things: the cancer and a heart condition. He went through a major open heart surgery over 4 years ago, but they could not repair it to 100%. His valve is still leaking which is causing all sorts of problems. He'll see a doctor after 3 weeks and today they adjusted his medication, so hopefully it will help.

On the phone he had fooled me into believing he's better than he is. Today I saw what is really going on. I need to start visiting more often.

Buddha is still hanging on with the pain medicine. Day to day with him. He still has lots of good moments and even played with a ball a little. He got the ball and brought it so we should throw it. He only does it couple of times, but at least it's still fun for him.

Buddha and I also visited our son at his work today. So he got to see Buddha at least today. Day to day.
