Thyme

There is a lot of thyme in flower at the moment. I find it virtually impossible to pass by without taking a pinch and rolling it under my nose. The smell is heavenly. The weather has been strange today. It has been mostly sunny but at lunchtime the wind got up, it rained and we had to cancel the tennis practice but within an hour it was calm and the sun was shining. I took the opportunity to install one of the four banister rails that I ordered after the electrician fell down the stairs. The concrete was difficult to drill and the hammer action did nothing for my elbow. Fortunately I had a session with the physiotherapist later in the afternoon and he worked his magic with the Tens machine and massage.
