Deep Purple

Rhodondendron bud about to open up in full bloom in that color of Deep Purple. 
Rhodondendron bushes can be found in many parks here in the West of the Netherlands... I suppose they grow abundantly all over the country, but living in the West, I'm only familiar with those bushes in the West.
