Soldier Beetle

………. I walked up the farm tracks again, looking for insects. There was a time when you couldn’t take a photo of a cow parsley type flower without any small critters on it (even though the farmer has always sprayed the fields frequently) but now it’s completely the opposite and and I only found this flower with one single beastie on it ( and there were loads of plants in flower) - all quite worrying :-/
