Red Lane Bridge
This is over the Bridgewater Canal.
I wandered this way on my own today. The bridge is narrow and results in the olde English custom of more or less unnecessary horn pipping ( twice ) on approach. Very irritating. I walked in to Stockton Heath along the canal. There was a van with an unusual logo parked outside a house -APDO- Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers. Almost as rare as Ghostbusters in the I spy book of trades. I might just give them a call when we get home.
It was a lovely day so I enjoyed the English version of continental pavement coffee drinking - teetering on a narrow busy pavement, one yard from the traffic. Later we went to visit Frances in Macclesfield.
