Clifton Aqueduct

In three week's time, Charlie, Milly, Hannah, and I are running the Manchester 10k for charity. Hannah is keen to go for a time in the race, and has been following a training plan on Runna.

Today, she needed to complete a seven and a half mile run, so I said I'd go with her, and the Minx kindly dropped us off at a point along the Irwell, and then Hannah and I ran back along the path by the river. 

At one point, the path takes you past the end of the Clifton Aqueduct, which carried the Bolton and Bury Canal over the river. (To be honest, I'm pretty sure I've posted a similar picture to this in the past.)

And this afternoon, the Minx put down some new paving in the garden, using skills and knowledge acquired from TikTok, and I played my part by carting (wheelbarrowing) stone from the front of the house to round the back.
