Canada Goose Family
Mom, Pop and 4 goslings, above the Lake Union shore. There are 4-9 eggs per year. Mom and Dad mate for life. Raised land above a lake is favored nest territory. Nests can be on flat surfaces in large rocks high above salt water. At times, Bald Eagles seem quite interested in following the long line of yellow goslings as they follow their parents, especially on land. Watch Out! NannaK ( HCB)
