More Than A Weed

Dandelions are popping up everywhere! I used to see them as a nuisance but I finally wised up in my 50’s, LoL • They’re a welcome sight in spring for early pollinators • These fuzzy yellow flowers are full of nutrients too and can be used in a variety of ways: tea, coffee, pesto, capers, wine, greens, salve, syrup, etc. • MrsP Update: it was a long first night and a tough morning but she’s a fighter and wants to get better. Today she’s remained upstairs in the recliner she “slept” in last night, and we introduced icing to a swollen area on her back which seemed to bring some relief • Thank You for all the well wishes and positive messages for MrsP. Each one made her smile • I did leave the house for a short while to pick up more antibiotics for Ducky • Happy May First! Peace & Love
