Thursday: Relaxing In The Undergrowth

The reason Barney is looking so chilled in the undergrowth is because he is delighted to have K home.  Yes, that’s right!

Her temperature has now been stable for over 24 hours.  She still has a bit of a rash which the doctor wanted to monitor. But after a chat with the doctor, she agreed to discharge K. as long as we kept a close eye on things.  I think the fact that we live so close helped and the doctor did concede that we seemed like ‘sensible people’.

So, once today’s blood tests came back fine I was able to pick her up this evening.  

And just to complete the story of yesterday’s visitors who wouldn’t leave, apparently one of them stayed all night.  Apparently, short of removing them by force, there’s no way to get people to leave if they don’t comply.
