As I roved out....

... on a bright May morning

What a fabulous start to the summer, May Day/ Bealtaine. It could not have been nicer.. Warm and sunny with and a full body roll in the dew to start with- emerging covered in willow pollen and astonishing the cat. Then we decided to nip down to Kitchen Cove and have a quick dip, it being high tide. It looked stunning but it was absolutely perishing! We heard shrieks from across the bay which sounded like someone else taking the plunge too.

I checked the postpbox shrine was looking suitable then went round the circuit, thrilled to hear the first cuckoo. .Himself went off to hunter and gather and returned with strawberries and prosecco, perfect.

In the afternoon, I zoomed over to pay my respects to Lady's Well. As I walked across the field,  enormous fat drops of rain started to fall and then there were three claps of thunder.

Meanwhile, Will was in Glastonbury where they really know how to celebrate May Day!

As I roved out Actually a bit mournful but still lovely.
