Tractor Watching

I think today has been the warmest day of 2025 so far. It went up to 27⁰C (80.6⁰F) daring the afternoon. Little Man and I stayed indoors and chilled. Since we moved into our little old house, I've been curious about well the house stays cool. Sometimes it's felt colder inside the house than inside, which has left me wondering. The only thing that might be a problem, is that we have two large windows that face east, so we get the full force of the morning sun coming straight into the lounge. None of the windows in the main part of the house don't open, so we might be living in an oven during the summer.

The farmers have been busy with mowing the grass in their pastures over the last few days. They scent of freshly cut grass has flooded into the house, as I left the back door open. Its a lovely smell. We spent some time watching the tractor moving back and forth, in one of the fields across the road. The number of tractors that have been going past seem to have increased over the last few days, probably due to the increased amount of work the farmers need to do. There have been more old cars, sports cars and motorbikes going past this last week, which we've also enjoyed seeing.

Little Man added another sticker to his piece of paper today. Hopefully we can keep the progress going (see yesterday's post for more information).
