The derelict factory...

...down at the Fishquay...

This morning we wandered along the river to the Old Lowlight and had a coffee outside in the sunshine. 

I thought I'd better blip this spot of dereliction while it's still standing, though I have done it before. A security light run off solar panels has been erected since we were last here, and a big sign that says "dangerous building - keep out".

You can see that behind and to the right are a series of new apartments which have a similar design, so I'm thinking this will be ripe for development too... Possibly soon... ;) 

A pleasant walk to Cullercoats this aft to check on the progress of the cycle way, rounded off with a cuppa at Sea You There.
