Iris

A scorchio kind of day to welcome in a new month - Happy May day everyone!  Should be a voting day for us locally too but the powers that be have decided that Essex council should become a super council with a mayor instead so have taken away our democratic right to vote... the locals are not happy! Time for a revolution!!

Being sensible today and staying home as my legs and feet have gone on strike!  So a catch up day indoors and out - did spend an hour in the garden last evening which was lovely doing a few little pottering jobs so might be doing the same today when things are cooling off!  Hot weather doesn't seem to be slowing down the slugs and snails though... why can't they eat the weeds?! Or better still go munch on my neighbours plants while they're away!!

The Iris flowers are now out and looking stunning!
