Hearty Breakfast

OH away for a couple of days and he sent me a picture of his breakfast - he needs sustenance before playing 18 holes.  He is away for a few days and I am 'home alone'.  We have been married for nearly 45 years and been through ups and downs and remain happily married (for the most part) but I do love my time alone in the house - just a few days but I can enjoy the silence and solitude.

Today was BP first then lots of running round before the girls came for tea.  I had made some scones and got clotted cream and jam and they were probably 6/10 although tasted ok hadn't risen enough.  Chatting and laughing in the sunshine.  They didn't go home until around 5.30 and I pottered and made dinner and watched a few episodes of HMT.  Scary stuff.  Fell asleep in the chair as there was nobody prodding me to wake up!
