Not dead

My entry today was made during a hike in the Odenwald. Of course you see trees. But to my surprise we saw a lot of broom (Cytisus scoparius) in full bloom! I knew we had some, but not so many.
By the way, the animal in my thumbnail is a horse. Cattle is kept inside buildings in most cases.
