Night lights
I took my pc to a repair shop yesterday, so hopefully I'll be getting that back soon and it won't be too expensive.
It has been so hot the last few days! I have the aircon on at work on the coldest setting, plus a fan on full blast, and I'll still be roasting. And the drive home is even worse!
We ordered food from the vegan Chinese yesterday though, which was amazing as always! And we started a new group save on Stardew Valley and introduced Sadie to the game, which was fun.
Sophia, Sadie and I went to the pub quiz today for the first time in over a month. We came 13th, which is usually okay as normally there are 30+ teams... There were only 14 today.
It was fairly close between everyone to be fair, but as we were last at the time, we decided we might as well play risky for the final round where you lose points if you give the wrong answer (you can choose not to answer and stay on the same points), so either it works and we jump up the standings, or we come last and get to choose a category for next weeks picture round. Despite us guessing silly things at some points, another team managed to drop far below us, so I think maybe they were giving wrong answers on purpose so they could be last.
We had a lot of fun though.
Headingley was busy this evening as there was a big Rugby game on at the stadium between the 2 University teams. There were students everywhere and a lot went out drinking after the game. Because of the crowds, there was a large police presence following the crossbow attack on Saturday.
On the way home, I thought the moon looked nice so I tried taking some pictures, even though my phone camera is even worse than normal when zooming in. I ended up getting some interesting shots with a bright street light also in the shot, which created a light flare and accentuated the darker part of the moon too. It's an objectively awful photo, but it's the best I got and I kind of like it anyway despite that.
