Catch up with a view
Difficult conversations today. First up was the specialist MND nurse who will fast track the necessary support and liaise with the two consultants who care for Richard. I had a serious wobble at what the future holds.
Fortunately my sons wife is a nurse who wants to work in a hospice once she has completed her higher level training. She called in to help explain the importance of having an end of life care package in place and what support may be available. At the centre will be Richard’s wishes.
Thankfully I was due to meet friends this afternoon for a catch up over a cuppa. We sat outside with this view. A wonderful distraction to what is going on at the moment.
