Spring colour

I was late and short of time for planting these bulbs which I had rescued for the garden and pots last year so they are all in pots together and making a grand splash of colour.
We sat by the pond in the sunshine this evening watching golden mayflies backlit by the sunset dancing over the pond. I managed a couple of videos but they are too fast for a photo. A lovely uplifting experience after a frustrating day.
