Not fritillaries…

We went to Cricklade this afternoon to see the Snakeshead Fritillaries. Despite “Fritillary Watch” saying that there were still some there, we found none…

However, it was a beautiful day for a walk around the meadow, with the Cuckoo flowers, marsh marigolds and reeds in abundance.

This is what we were expecting….
