Miniature triffids in the hot sunshine!

Another glorious day. The last one of April.
I was out to lunch with the Pilates ladies. Five of us, as one had an appointment at her hospital.
25C today!
I wore a summer dress for the first time. Felt good.
Ann picked me up at 11:00am.
Stephen isn’t very well today and has now gone down with a really bad chesty cold. I think he’s a bit run down, after looking after me for 6 months.
It is hard to get him to stop and rest at the best of times. Once he’’s finished one thing he then begins another.
I made him cancel a visit to see a friend in town, as it would’ve made him worse.
When I got home not long after 3:00pm I was pleased to see him asleep under the patio umbrella.
So for once I was able to make him a cuppa and take it out to him.
We would have also had our small group get together here (from church) this evening which we have with pizzas Stephen makes, but I cancelled that too.
I shall water the garden after tea. That doesn’t take too long using the extended hose.
