View From A Bridge
This morning I managed to get a couple of loads of laundry done and dried outside.
I wanted to go out but I was confined to the house, waiting for a parcel to be delivered for Brian. There was a card through the door to say that they'd tried to deliver it while I was out yesterday. We couldn't understand why, as it didn't require a signature, and would fit through the letter box.
But I waited, chatting via messenger with Jeri and Grace. I went upstairs to look for something and came downstairs to see the package being put through the letter box. It needed a good shove, but it went through OK. I don't know why they couldn't have done that yesterday.
Then I had a walk into town. It's very warm today, though set to cool down for the weekend, typically. I got what I needed and headed home.
My Blip is the pedestrian bridge over Broad gate, which is due to be demolished next week. It is quite scruffy and they don't want it lowering the tone for the new hotel they're building nearby. But it's very popular with photographers, giving good views of the Cathedral. There is a man taking photos of it, possibly for the last time, in this shot. It will be missed for this purpose, at least.
