Whatcom Chief Ferry

This 63 year car and passenger ferry. is down from Lummi Island, which is about one mile off the upper coast of Washington State. It is due for replacement by a diesel-hybrid, larger ferry in 2027. This is described as a 50 million dollar project. The trip takes a few minutes, and there are 30+ round trips per day. This annual dry dock visit will be complete by 5/11. NannaK(HB)
