Larger Than Life!

This Lovely, Larger than Life, giant flowering white hibiscus bush was in full bloom. It caught my eye as I was leaving the small convenience store/filling station early this afternoon. I could not believe the size of the blooms. Looked to be about 10 inches in diameter. Looking it up, I discovered it is called Giant White Satin Hibiscus.
"Floriferous" best describes this pretty white flowered hybrid. The 6-8" flowers are a constant delight, being pure white and satiny smooth with a deep pink eye. The 6' vigorous bush (potted plants remain smaller) is strong, upright and always covered with blooms and buds. Many open at the same time. A medium green, glossy foliage thickly covers this handsome plant. White Satin is a High Voltage self cross and has inherited many of its parent's good qualities. White Satin will continue to bloom well into fall, and, where winters are mild, year round. It is our brightest and whitest white flower. It also, along with High Voltage, its parent, has the best bush of all our whites. We highly recommended White Satin. Released in 2004 from HVH.

Today was a Larger than Life day for me as we closed on the house and I will be free to start my new beginnings in a new Location; and Luke and his Lovely family will be starting their new Life in this house as they take over ownership. I had gone to the store for a bottle of wine to celebrate this Larger than Life Day! That is where I saw the flowers and my theme was apparent. The weather has been awesome!
Just another Larger than Life reference: there has been a huge black bird on the bush outside the picture window all afternoon. Its tail is as Long as the entire body, and it opened its beak and let out the Loudest shrill shriek I have ever seen come out of a bird I was looking at. My mind feels it is my brother's spirit Letting me know this is good and meant to be! For people who knew my brother, they can understand the Logic of my feelings. Thank you Lord for the strength and courage to get to this place in my Life!
