Zorb Football
After a hearty breakfast we set off for Tynedale Rugby Club again, where a day of fun had been organised. There were various activities to move around including a giant darts board to kick footballs at (they stuck on with velcro), some very silly relay races, a nerf battle and zorb football. The kids LOVED this and not a lot of football was played - they were just happy endlessly barging into each other and rolling about. Some of the parents had a go too...
After lunch (pie, chips and gravy) there was some more zorb football, and a few games of "kids vs. dads" touch rugby. CyclopsJnr touch tackled his Cyclops a couple of times... Cyclops never managed to catch him - he's too fast and agile.
We then watch the Tynedale vs. Leeds club game which was excellent - Leeds had already won the championship, but the local lads won 21-7 in front of a very happy home crowd. The kids all played a bit more with rugby balls then we got the bus back to the accommodation.
We ate at a lovely brew-pub (sausages, mash and gravy again, but this time with peas instead of Yorkshire pudding), and the kids played in the garden. It was after 9:30 before CyclopsJnr got to bed again, and again he was out like a light.
