Chris and Rose got married today.  Just the legal bit in a local registry office with two witnesses. The reception with family and friends takes place in Majorca next week.  Meanwhile, Chris’ mother-in-law takes a quick snap to mark the occasion.  I snap her, snapping them.

We (the happy couple, parents and witnesses) have lunch in a nearby restaurant.

During the meal Anniemay offers me a big fat chip from her meal while I wait for mine to arrive. I hesitate.

Me; “I’m not eating chips anymore. I read an article which says that eating Ultra-processed Foods can lead to an early death.”

Anniemay; “you’re too old to die young.”

I take her point.  And the chip.
