Dock warehouses
It was wet and dismal when we got up this morning so we went over to Liverpool for lunch and ended up in Bold Street at Yums, which is Chinese and has 50 dishes to choose from in the buffet. Lovely food although it tends to be a bit on the sweet side for me, good all the same.
We took a wander around the dock area stopping to take photo's, and found ourselves in one of the old dock warehouses where there was a market, of course Mike was in his element and bought an in car charger for his mobile. I swear he'll never be a rich money just burns a hole in his pocket.
The old warehouses are in sad repair, I'd have loved to have seen them in their hey day, stocked with wool, tobacco and wares that came in from foreign shores, some great photo opportunities, I'll have to come back here.
We passed this building and it was only then I realised that I'd seen it here yesterday.
Indoors all evening as the weather is wet and gloomy, when are we going to get the BBQ summer the weather men have been shouting about, perhaps it'll be August??
Hope the weekend has been a good one, it goes too fast though
