Scarlet lily beetle

A beautiful day at Lochwinnoch nature reserve. Lots of interesting birds - shovelers, great crested grebes, black tailed godwits, lapwing. Fabulous blossom and my favourite pair of collared doves too. And then a scarlet lily beetle when I got home! Thought it was a ladybird initially.
