At Easter, the Surbiton Set were here. The youngest of the grandchildren. Egg painting and rolling was something we did in our family - my cousins and I in the 1950s, and with our children in the 1980s, and then with the grandchildren in the 2010s and 2020s. Hal and Nico joined in enthusiastically, without any real idea of why we were doing it ... I hear that the Kingston Crew also rolled eggs in Richmond Park ...
