Baby steps...

There is a Bill Murray film, the title I forget, where his shrink suggests that he takes baby steps towards each new goal. So if he needs to go downtown he splits that act up into small manageable 'baby' steps and so overcomes his fears and achieves his goals. However, his character takes this too far and ends up taking baby steps for nearly every foot fall all the while repeating 'baby steps onto the sidewalk' or 'baby steps over the puddle' and, well you get the idea.

Well, I decided a couple of weeks back that I wanted to start painting again and so far its fun but frustrating. Started this today and heard myself say 'baby steps up to the board' when I began. One small step at a time then.
