Summer come
Two iterations of the rocket in two days - and this time the real thing, taken from the bottom of the Playfair Steps on my way between George Square and George Street.
After a somewhat disturbed night, I was not feeling at my most lively this morning, so I chose to use the bus and do a bit of walking, rather than leaping on the peloton bike and then cycling in, as I did yesterday (and I plan to do tomorrow).
My day was ok but the uncertainty continues. At the end of the day, I collected a new keyboard from the RSE. It should make the new iPad somewhat more usable.
The house is rather sweaty this evening - so we are sitting with the balcony door open and I've stripped down to a sleeveless T shirt. It's quite improbable weather. In the meantime, the lilac is in flower in Tain. Picture in extras courtesy of N, who has been round to see to the plants' H2O requirements, good man. And in other news, 40 years after the fact, I "took" my MA (so that I can vote in the election for the new Chancellor in the autumn).
