Bluebells at Blickling

I got up early this morning and went straight over to the bluebell woods at Blickling to get photos in the early morning light. I love this annual visit with the beautiful bluebells and the birds singing their heart out in the background, an only a couple of people around. I always take a video on my phone, a shame that can't be added to Blip. I have added a collage to extras of more bluebell photos. I was back in town by 9 for a loaf, apples and my first strawberries of the year. Back home, after breakfast I planted out my tumbling toms their tubs - difficult to know what's best for them in this heatwave. I sat out in the garden for a while, but it was mostly too hot for me today, so I edited my photos instead. Then I took the hose round to the front garden and gave everything a good drink. Whilst I was sitting outside, I had to laugh at the pigeons, two were taking it in turns to sit in the bird bath for a few minutes each!
