Stained Glass Wings

I had my day all planned out but then decided to change it. The weather wasn't too wonderful, so I delayed my plans until this afternoon. And then a phone call changed it again.

One of the patients on dad's ward has tested positive for Covid, so it has meant I've made the decision not to visit. I don't want to catch it and pass it onto my Aunt let alone anyone else. My dad has tested negative. My plan was to visit him this afternoon and then go on to Trentham. I still decided to visit Trentham though.

I took my new light-weight flash and diffuser to see if I could get some macro shots. It was a dull and dark around 6pm but I was really happy with this image. The wings of this Alder fly are amazing....
