Ham Wall RSPB

Back blipping from the holiday.

Checking the suggested route on the sat nav we realised that we were going within a couple of miles of the RSPB reserve at Ham Wall on the Somerset Levels. So we had a detour and thoroughly enjoyed our wandering. Heard the bitterns booming and saw the glossy ibis.

The extras are from the camera, but I am not really a bird photographer (and don’t really have a long enough lens). The robin was very obliging, letting me get the camera out of the bag, change the lens and still get half a dozen images.
