Adios fireplace

Richard the lovely bricci came round today - he nearly didn't as apparently he had been ringing the bell and thought no one was in. We managed to call him and get him back from half way across town.

Of course they've had six months to do the fireplace in and if course they are going to come while we are away. I'm not impressed but as husband says I won't have to be here with all the mess

To be fair it will be lovely to come back and its all done... Other than I don't think in my phobic head I will be coming back.

Rich thinks its a far bigger job than he remembers. I bet it takes two weeks not the one quoted.

Richard is definitely worth the wait. His brick work is amazing.

We spend the afternoon clearing the room ready for the works to begin.

Tonight we have a Chinese takeaway. It's rank. Yak.
