Last Few Days

The Bellfield totaliser shows that the minimum target has been reached, so the other funds will be released, but every pound raised in the last few days will reduce the amount they have to borrow to complete the work.
Taken on my way to Monday football, back after the Easter break. A tight eight-a-side game with a good assist for our first and then a neat turn to make space on the edge of the box and a shot into the corner of the net. Unfortunately, despite some great saves from our keeper the other team pulled away late on. I scored a second to bring us back in with a chance, deflecting G's wayward shot into the net but we couldn't score any more and they clinched a three goal win with the last goal of the game. Still, another enjoyable game, leading the line up front. And Leeds won their last home game at ER to keep them in the hunt for the title, to go with promotion. A win needed away at Plymouth - a tricky place to go but they are all but relegated needing a twelve goal swing in the final games. And Burnley opponents, Millwall, are still striving for a play-off place so who knows.
