Proud mum moment

Tackled a few chores this morning, then MrM and I went to Lucy's (my daughter) exhibition at the Assembly House in Leeds. It's a selection of the pieces she's produced during the last two years of her PhD course. Interesting and enjoyable, the result of lots of hard work and determination - she's had several obstacles to overcome along the way. One more year to go...

When the exhibition closed for the day, we joined Lucy and Reuben for a couple of drinks. It was just about warm enough to sit outside by the river, though the sun didn't ever put in an appearance. A lovely afternoon.
