No cuckoos here yet,

but there’s an incredible abundance of these lilac petaled beauties. They are commonly known as Cuckoo flower, also called Lady's smock, Mayflower, or Milkmaids.
The Canada geese have done well to keep three of their offspring from mr Fox, unlike the hens here which are now down to four from six:(
