Me and the girls

Yesterday I had Sunday lunch with my 4 oldest friends, 3 husbands and 8 out of 9 of our children (my daughter decided to stay with granny and gramps). We have known each for 30 years as of next month when we started High School together - in fact 2 met aged 5 at primary! Everyone but me still lives in either Buckinghamshire or Berkshire and we try to get together en masse 3 times at year. A bit of a feat when its 16-17 of us to feed.

Our children range in age from 10-3 and in when we get together they all just bond in little groups and its lovely to see them. My son is the one and only boy but he doesn't seem to mind! We decided to take a photo of the children in height order - not age as my son is nearer in height to the 9-10 year olds rather than the 6-7 year olds. Of course we then had to take one of us in height order too..

We may all be the wrong side of 40 but we are all still young at heart! Wonder what we look like in another 30 years...

PS I am infilling my back blips from holiday starting on day 1 and working forwards..
