Home Again

We left the sweet cabin in Camp Sherman (blip of the living room) this morning and headed the long, scenic way home up through Government Camp on Mt. Hood. It takes a bit longer but it’s a gorgeous drive. We stopped at the Crooked River for a bio break - officially called the Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint. It’s a 300’ drop to the floor of the Crooked River Canyon, and despite the encouragement of my traveling companion, I refused to sit on the low stone wall that borders the canyon in order to have my picture taken! Apparently the wall was built to remind people and dogs (see extra) that one needs to be mindful of the edge!

What a fantastic few days it’s been!
