M6
I drove south today, to go to the NODA Summer School. Now, the School - which will feature in many photographs over the next week or so - does not start until tomorrow (Saturday), but the journey down is about six or seven hours. And since the School starts with a meeting at 5pm, that just gets us into the stage that it would be awkward to make the journey tomorrow.
Instead, I drove to Preston today, and used some of my Priority Club points to spend a night in the Preston Holiday Inn Express. I would have to describe it as the newest, and cleanest, HIE I have ever been in - it was lovely!
The hotel is just off the M6, so in the evening I went for a wander and snapped this little picture. What I failed to notice is that I didn't have a memory card in the camera - lucily it has a small buffer of its own and so it was able to keep this picture - albeit at a lowly 640x480 resolution.
