Meiji Jingu

Rookey mistake of thinking Imperial palace gardens were open despite the palace being closed!!
A few stops more and we arrived at Meiji Jingu a lovely huge garden with temples, flowers, wells etc. Busy to start with but soon got less. Nipped in Yoyogi park beside unfortunately the cherry blossom gone and fountain getting upgraded. 
Rain due later so kept going, down to the pier for a trip along the river, very space age boat.
Got back to the hotel just before rain started, a rest before out to a lovely Thai restaurant and some great vegetarian food.
