Erythronium
We planted seeds of Erythronium "Pagoda" over 40 years ago when we first moved to this house. By sheer coincidence I blipped one of them on this day in my first month of blipping in 2009 and then again on this day in 2010.
It was appropriate to blip it again today as I spent the day working in this part of the garden. All our garden was neglected last year so I'm working hard to get it nice again this summer.
Also, as I was watching Classic Eastenders, the one where the video of Stacey and Max's affair comes to light, there was a lovely picture of erythroniums on the wall in Max's hall!
In my other moments of resting I kept opening my Merlin App to identify the bird song I could hear. I must look out for the chiffchaff and the willow warbler it recorded.
On the bird theme, The Man was disappointed to find the new router we had been sent this week is incompatible with our nest box camera. The firm say we will have to ask BT for a device to split our WiFi to 2.4 and 5 GHz so that the camera can work at 2.4 GHz. Well, we haven't anything nesting in it as it happens but, it's still annoying.
