Birthday flowers.

Not sure what to blip today, but finally decided on these tulips which were given to me on my birthday last Monday. They were in bud and have now opened and look beautiful.

As you can see we have had a lovely sunny day.
Temp up to 21C.
Monday is always a busy day with housework, washing, shopping etc.
However I did sit out in the garden for a while and read my book. Serenade by one of our blackbirds.
Hoping their nest is still OK as a crow was trying to push it’s way into the bush this morning .I opened the bedroom window and tried to shoo it off. It did eventually fly off but unfortunately I think it may be back. Presumably after the eggs.
