The good, the bad and the ugly

This is the Stamford open air theatre. We enjoyed a good day out here, around this time last year. That's the good bit.

I also received £10 in RHS vouchers today (although they had already sent me all the vouchers I was expecting for signing up to their direct debit scheme), so now we have £30 (instead of the expected £20) to spend on new plants.

So that was good too ....

I also only got charged for 2 hours labour instead of 7 on my boiler repair .... that was good too ....

Now the bad.

No sooner was our own boiler finally repaired, when I read my emails and discovered that my Agency (through which I rent out my flats), had informed me that one of the flats needs (you guessed it) a boiler repair. I swear someone up there in the sky hates me.

We just can't save up a penny. No sooner do we make some money, it's gone.

and the ugly?

You don't want to know.

Life really sucks right now.

I will go to bed and concentrate on the fact that our own boiler is finally fixed, that the repair guy way undercharged us, and we have an extra £10 to spend on plants.
