Selby

I lived in Selby for a year when I first left school. I had to have a year of horticultural experience as well as 3 A levels to be admitted to London University. I lived in a bed sit right next to the abbey and have very happy and fond memories of my time there.

I’ve been back very briefly once in 2008 but never for a whole day. I met my friend there and we’ve had a lovely, lovely day. I’m now sat on the Station waiting for my train home, and again the memories are flooding back. Can’t believe I was 18 /19 last time I was here and now I’m using my senior railcard. Today however the years seem to have disappeared and I feel rejuvenated!
