He was being helped by a local pigeon fancier ( I think that is the term). The person helping and feeding him told me that he thinks he is from the UK. He was able to pick him up and check his markings. So he is a good few miles from home. If you are waiting at the loft for him he might not be home for a few hours yet. He has two rings and markings on his feathers.

I thought he might be in danger from the local birds but was told that was not the case. Anyway they were all busy trying to look after themselves that they did not pay him any attention.
