Catch-up

After a dry pub crawl in search of somewhere to eat, we ended up at a place we hadn’t visited in years. The food was good — I had the Garden Plot Medley (thankfully, no aubergines).

Over dinner, we talked about our upcoming retirements. Rose is leaving the week after I do. We also caught up on our families and wondered, once again, why we leave it so long between get-togethers.

In other news, all three of us — Paul, Bex, and I — have received updates on our DNA tests. They’ve been processed and we should get the results in 6–8 weeks.
