March of the Redundant Glasses
Here you see the parade of glasses I used and replaced in the past few years. Ongonig increase of eye misalignment reached the level where proper glasses could not be made for anymore. So eye surgery followed.
Almost two weeks ago my new (final) glasses were ready, so I was released from my temporary glasses with plastic fresnell additions, used for the post-operation recovery of the eye muscles !
But the pleasure lasted only short, as I was not satisfied about the comfort of reading with these glasses and using them for photography was almost impossible. So another series of measurements followed this week, and some "adjustment to practice" trials.
As result of that, new glasses are ordered again .... and hopefully these will now solve the problems I've been struggling with for so long.
So later this week, or early next week, the current two will be added to the parade, when the new ones reside at my nose.
More shots from the parade are at flickr.
