Unearthed

I've had some time for the garden beds this weekend and it's been so nice. Part of the roses were overrun with creeping bellflower, an invasive here. I pulled them out and discovered I have a small columbine by the back door. I also uncovered the little stone that says Love. Two good finds. I pruned some of the roses so now I can reach that bathtub in the back. My rhubarb is doing great too. Colby, my neighbor, gave me 3 strawberry plants and a big planter for my tomatoes. I dug up golden current sprouts for him and also let him dig up some of the Hens and Chicks  that are spreading in my back garden. A very nice give and take.
